This is the home page for the Purdue University chapter of Perl Mongers. Membership in our Perl Users Group is free and open to anyone. You may be interested in our PerlInfo.

Meetings

Our technical meetings have changed time, day-of-month, and location. The meetings now at 6:00pm to 7:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (that means Jan 20th, 2009; Feb 17th; Mar 17th; Apr 21st; May 19th) in BCHM 102. Yes, the meeting does conflict with "GLITS" (Greater Lafayette Information Technology) meetings but it does not appear that any of the 'mongers regular attendees also go to GLITS meetings. However let us know if this conflict does cause problems for you.

You can change any web page on our web site. Backups are kept in case of mistakes or vandalism so don't hesitate to post.

• PPMCopyright. Whatever you write here belongs to you (or the current copyright holder). PurduePerlMongers nor anyone else take ownership unless you explicitly state otherwise.
  
• PPMMission. This describes what we are all about, what is on-topic, what is off-topic, and our core values.

Using to the wiki is easy. You can edit any page using this procedure:

• click on ``Edit this page'' at the bottom of the page
  
• make any desired changes
  
• fill in the Summary box with a short description of your changes
  
• enter your Username (your real name with no spaces, for example, JohnDoe)
  
• click ``Save''
  
• answer a simple question to prove you're a human, to fight net vandalism

Practice in the SandBox! Once you are comfortable, please edit the RecentVisitors guest book using the procedure above and insert your Username. After you save your changes, click on the question mark after your Username to make your own home page.

This is an Oddmuse wiki, which is based on the UseMod wiki engine. We use the Wiki Creole Markup Rules and have the Oddmuse Creole Module installed.
